Some successes at last

I am very pleased indeed that some of my long-term work on your behalf is coming to fruition at last;

Increased policing has been agreed and there is evidence of this arriving on our doorsteps.
(Picture available of PCSO Gareth Walters and Youth Worker Steve Cluett – getting them both into Branston and the Heath Villages have been a long-term projects of mine!)

Biofuels being produced using Lincolnshire crops: New processing plants are offering contracts at good prices for substantial quantities of Lincolnshire’s wheat.

It has been agreed that the County budget for village hall grants is to be retained intact, despite pressures.

Waymarking sign now restored and up at Blankney

Safer crossings for the disabled. In response to requests from the Heath villages, I have lobbied successfully and bleepers are now being installed at High St/St Mary’s junction, High St/Tentercroft Junc and at the High St Pelican Crossing.

I have been able to get a new roof agreed for Branston School, as requested.
